For reasons that we’re all aware of, a lot of people will be doing at least some of their Christmas shopping online this year. Here are some key bits of information to bear in mind if you’re ordering from me online this year.
Christmas posting dates
- Wednesday 16 December – last date for UK orders to be delivered in time for Christmas
- Friday 18 December – orders will be sent out via Royal Mail second class, in line with their last recommended posting dates
- Wednesday 23 December – my online shops will be put in holiday mode and will reopen on Monday 4 January 2021
Delivery services are likely to be slower than usual this year due to increased demand, so if you are ordering online please order early where possible to avoid disappointment. I will still be posting orders out between 18 and 23 December, however orders placed during this period are very unlikely to arrive for Christmas.
If you are based in Bristol and would like to collect your order in person, please drop me a message when you order and we can arrange a time for contact free drop off or collection.
Gift wrapping and delivery
If you are ordering from my Etsy shop, you can choose to have gifts sent directly to the recipient. Simply select the gift option and enter your choice of message for the gift tag, then enter their address as the delivery address.
Any orders marked as gifts will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper and packaged with a printed gift tag, with a sticker on the outside of the packaging to indicate that there is a gift inside. I can also write on the packaging if a parcel shouldn’t be opened until a particular date.
So now you know the key dates for placing your orders this Christmas, all you need to do is decide what to buy. If you’re looking for inspiration, check out my gift guide blog for ideas to suit all budgets.
And if you do decide to do some of your Christmas shopping with me this year, thank you so much! Keep an eye out for one of my thank you cards in your order, with a cute little bear on the front and a sneaky discount code on the back to say thank you.
